Our History
Founded in 1977, Dynamic Design has long been recognized for supplying innovative and attractive planters. With a strong record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations, Dynamic Design today leads the planter business.
Dynamic Design was originally built on a product line of low cost poly planters and top level service to the industry. Over time, Dynamic Designs expanded it line to include planters in multiple materials, designs and at all price levels. As it grew, the company successfully built a reputation with consumers for style, value, and satisfaction.
For more than 30 years, Dynamic Design has continued to grow and offers the broadest line of planters available. The line now includes:
• Poly planters – both injection molded and rotationally molded – offer classic forms, contemporary colors and sturdy designs that run the spectrum of consumer expectations for quality and price. The Roto Molded planters feature a dual wall construction that adds strength and durability while eliminating distortion during extreme temperature changes.
• PolyLam4® fiberglass planters offer a high end appeal through a combination of style, design, strength, and value.
• The innovative Ceramix™ line offers a unique alternative to ceramic planters. Ceramix™ planters have the look and feel of ceramic planters but are four times stronger. The line offers a wide range of style and design.
• The EcoGardener™ line consists of beautiful, affordable, and eco-friendly planters that are made from sustainable resources including bamboo and rice. These planters are biodegradable when buried or placed in a landfill. The line demonstrates Dynamic Design’s growing commitment to the potential of renewable green products.
• Dynamic Design also offers a full line of accessories including poly watering cans, trellises, plant caddies, brackets and saucers.
Today, the Dynamic Design brand continues to prosper on as part of the Ames True Temper family of brands. With the purchase of Dynamic Design in 2002, Ames True Temper has furthered the tradition of innovation and design expertise that made Dynamic Design the industry leader.
